Sweet and casual, The Studio K’s latest collection brings warm spring vibes into fall with classic silhouettes and flawless details. Every eye was monopolized by denim—The Canadian tuxedo lived on in mid to dark wash essentials. White contrast in pinstripes and outlines were placed among wide legs and frayed hems.
Layered over these 90s flashbacks, Western cuffs and bolo ties made their way into our hearts with its sweet simplicity. Night masks, an unexpected accessory, were mixed in with socks and sandals and a touch of lace and bows; the designer was able to strike a balance between masculinity and femininity, as well as playfulness.
Keeping a simple color scheme, blue and burgundy pigments easily dominated this collection, only broken up with white and specks of green and camel. Giving us an escape from the heavy feeling of darker days, The Studio K reminded us that we can always choose to not give in to the seasons’ usual nature.
