When one thinks of Paris, there is the iconic Eiffel tower, wine, baguettes … And then, of course, Parisian men. Men from Paris are universally known for being the most romantic, and this Paris Fashion Week did not disappoint. Reminiscent of the Paris of old, men at Paris Fashion week brought back the man brooch. Men, and boys, alike came straight out of a portrait painting from the Louvre with the perfect piece to add subtle depth and romance to each look. Classic, yet playful, neckwear layered gentility with its close cousin, refinement. And, nodding to a lost etiquette, most refused to be caught dead without, of course, a hat. Like peacocks, the male that is the most colorful and adorned finds its mate—Is it that Parisian men have taken after birds?
