As the chicest dressers in Milan trickled out of the Emilio Pucci show, street photographers pounced on the opportunity to snap the latest outfits. Peculiar hairy details on tops and bags caught the lens’ eye as it scanned the horizon. It was mixed in throughout the sea of texture and pattern. Animal print sided with stripes, zigzag lines with floral. The camera quickly noticed that throwing on a hat or adding thigh-high boots is a quick fix for instant glam. And, there is a comfortable simplicity in black—Tied to a dress, a blazer, a choker—that helps carry the mood. Round sunglasses competed with cat eyes for the most eye-catching trend, as it kept the ‘70s alive by accessorizing off the shoulder tops and denim. Stepping out camera-ready, Milan was an assortment of elegance and prowess.
