In the blistery heat of summer, men gathered for Men’s Fashion Week in Milan in anticipation of the newest trends. Nothing short of fashionable, their outfits illustrated the process of defining a sense of self. The use of print highlighted eccentricity to the point of clashing, often haphazardly paired with the typical floral. Belted and cropped jackets brought focus to the waist once again, along with bold tops. Whether on tattoos or clothes, the streets of Milan also carried a mix of neutral palettes and color. While black will undoubtedly remain chic, color brought life to Men’s Fashion Week. Colorful, printed neck scarves and mysterious shades completed many a look, but facial hair was indeed the most striking. Emitting a confident aura, these stylish Men’s Fashion Week-goers threw caution to the wind regarding the future of fashion.
