Now a seasoned player at NYFW, Son Jung Wan took her latest collection to another level presenting 42 vibrant pieces for the Fall season.
A perfect way to continue the mood of of love on the afternoon of Valentine’s day, Son’s cashmere and wool outerwear were incredibly breathtaking and enviable in the current arctic freeze of the city. Fur adorned sleeving, trims in lambskin and fox fur collars were present throughout the women’s and menswear show that warmed a crowd that just came from temperatures dipped in the 20s.
The blast of color refreshed the snow filled days of NYFW with women’s outerwear, pants, jackets and dresses in bright hues of Fuchsia, Violet, Gold, Orange and her signature Turquoise that stunned in glamour. A soft brown plaid coat with lambskin collar and an orange wool overcoat with fur detailing floated across the runway as chic and wearable examples for Fall.
The 5 men’s looks presented were equally eye-popping in multicolor cashmere jackets, and wool overcoats in violet and orange with fur trims and detailing for the today’s fashion-embracing male generation.
Congratulated by celebrity actress Kelly Rutherford in a white SJW evening dress at the close of her show, Son’s star seems to grow in the US market, and only continued to shine on this wintery Valentine’s day special at Fashion Week.
