MBFW New York : Jay Godfrey AW15 – Ode to Valentine’s Day

A most fitting way to kick off the spirit of love on the morning of Valentine’s Day at NYFW, Jay Godfrey‘s Fall 2015 presentation was another display of metropolitan chic and his signature French-bohemian style.
With the Beatles playing in the background the soft purple passion orchid and silver draped panels creating the perfect backdrop for complimenting Godfrey’s 15 piece presentation for the upcoming Fall season.
Floral print high cut out skirts and gowns took center stage with passion orchid hues throughout various pieces like flared trousers and blouses that had a distinct feeling of the 70s. A popular style trend for fall Godfrey took plaid and created black and gold mini dresses and jackets that had elegance with a bit of edge. Suede sequins and sheer mesh fabrics were also present in his latest line for additional glamour. Another highlight was the two toned gown in passion orchid and silver in keeping with Godfrey’s dedication to modern evening wear.
On the day about romance, Jay Godfrey‘s Fall collection seemed to offer a perfect outfit choice for a romantic evening out for every modern-day woman.
