Continuing his signature cosmo-girl style effervescence for Spring 2015, Rolando Santana’s latest collection was presented in his brand new 5,000 square ft showroom, newly minting his beautifully renovated Midtown space in time for NYFW. The modern white showroom was an intimate setting for Rolando Santana’s Mark Rothko inspired line for Spring where cools greens, lilacs, powder blues and flirty cocktail dresses and sporty pockets took center stage.

Models wore their hairs in bushy high ponytails while clean, glistening silhouettes captured the feeling of elegant yet playful. Soft linear striping mirrored the geometric style of contemporary artist Mark Rothko also playing into his multi colored mix of colors and subtleties.

Mexican-born fashion designer based in NYC, Rolando Santana dresses can be found at Neiman Marcus and other select boutiques around the country. From his Frieda Kahlo inspiration for Fall to his modern art themed looks for Spring 2015 what is exciting about Santana is not only his embrace of the arts but being able to capture their spirit and essence to fuel another amazing collection that is distinctly Rolando’s.
