NYFW: Pamella Roland S/S 2015

1Inspired by Japanese artist Toko Shinoda, Pamella Roland put together a modern collection of eye-catching elegance. With sleek ponytails to keep attention on the gorgeous pieces, soothing colors distinguish the exceptional details. Kimono sleeves and obi-style waists bring Japanese inspiration to the forefront, but the details take it elsewhere in sheer, geometric lines, and contrasting trim. Between wide leg pants and intricately layered dresses, twists in asymmetrical hems and fringe waists make for a pleasant surprise. Floral and fish print silk prove to be elegant and classic, and the abstract brush strokes enrich the motif. Ending in a shiny textured dress, Pamella Roland presented an amazing cohesive collection that can make anyone fall in love at first sight.
