Paris Fashion Week Menswear SS2015: Street Style

2

Street fashion snaps oftentimes are as important as the shows; They’re a translator in the language of fashion, telling the world what trends will take hold. From shocking to expected, the anticipation could kill. Florals remained out and about, in bold and in small and dainty. However, cornrows, open backs, green loafers, and modern patchwork offered a pleasant air of surprise, surrounded a backdrop of black and white. With hats, neon shades, and clutches decorating the outfits, eyes were piqued with visual interest. Summer knits, a smock, and leather rebelled against the temperatures, contrasting with knee length skirts, stripes, and tropical print shirts. One thing is for certain: Matching separates in all patterns and textures, including florals and denim, will be molded and remolded over the next year. Thankfully, a few classics kept trends in check, like long jackets and button-down shirts, balancing out the blossoming extremes. Another fact? Parisians know style.
